BIO:

 

A Franco-Lebanese filmmaker, producer and writer, has made more than 40 films documentaries and 4 features films. The chart-topping musical comedy“Bosta” (2005), the multi-award winning reality-based fiction “Under the Bombs” (2008) and the widely acclaimed autobiography “Heritages” (2014). Aractingi has released in 2017 fictional and highly acclaimed sensual love story “Ismaii” or “Listen”. 

"Under the Bombs" and "Bosta" were both selected to represent Lebanon at the Oscars in 2006 and 2009.

Philippe Aractingi was named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in  2018 by the Government of France for his contributions to art and cinéma.
