Yasmeen Farah is a visual artist who received her degree in Visual Communication from the Charpentier Academy in Paris, in 2004. It is when she discovered Dadaism, that she liberated herself as an artist, understanding that she didn’t have to choose one medium, or one style. The images and objects she collected ever since she was a little girl were part of the bigger canvas. Her creations multi-layered, like her identity. Over the years she explored her art through all the forms it took: design, photography, art direction, fashion. In 2011, she began to teach an art workshop to four children. A few years later, she left everything and dedicated herself to her art school, DADA, teaching 8 classes a week with more than 50 students of all ages. Farah’s workshop resembles her own personality, filled with images and objects of inspiration, music, life, so that each student can evolve at his own pace, in his own art.
